The dye from the fabric turned the lemonade pink, but instead of tossing it out, Pete got creative. He sold it as "pink lemonade"-and doubled his sales! That unexpected twist in history turned a mistake into a sensation. Today, pink lemonade is a staple at fairs, festivals, and lemonade stands everywhere.
